New Woodlands School had it's own software programme called BANNERMANIA installed on a computer in one of the classrooms. Most of the pupils were familiar with the programme and it was effectively used to create a nice link between the literacy and artwork.

Once the pupils had chosen their word or phrase they then worked on it inside BANNERMANIA with Viv or Jacqui, creating their individual designs.

Once they were happy with the results the graphic images (above) were printed out onto acetate and transferred onto screens using a photographic stencilling process ready for the next screen printing session.
