Richard Cloudesley School Print Workshops These took place 1 day a week for 6 weeks with year 7 and year 8 pupils. Two pupils from Elizabeth Garrett Anderson also attended each print workshop. Curtains were created for the physiotherapy pool changing area and many of the images used on these were of faces, figures and clothes. |

The pupils prepared their designs using torn and cut paper shapes which they then used for collaborative screen printing of the large pieces of fabric. This was combined with monoprinting and painting. Individual smaller pieces of fabric on the theme of Water were produced. The pupils had been working on drawings, paintings and collages and these were used as the basis for developing their designs. The finished printed fabric pieces were made into flags, tubes and hangings to decorate the school's hydrotherapy pool. |
