ARTWORK/SCREEN PRINTING CONTINUED

finished Rectory prints drying

Finished examples after the second print. Remember, the lower part of the piece was a facial expression - a self portrait that reflected an aspect of character and personality, an insight into our spiritual self - and the upper part reflected interests, favoured possesions and things that meant a lot to us in the material world.

Once the pages are sewn together, the piece works as a split page book so that each of the lower pages can be viewed with any of the upper page sections. Different and contrasting images are created with the turn of each page expressing the different characters and interests across the three classes working in harmony with one anther.
