INSPIRATION AFRICA!
NOTICEBOARD

Hi Jacqui you probably do not remember me but I just thought I would E-mail you to say that I love the website and I think its great.
from Daisy, Sandhurst Junior School

Hi Daisy,
Yes of course I remember you and I'm glad that you like the website and your project pages. It is so nice for me to receive feedback like this as I document your project after it has finished and I don't get to see the expression on your faces when you see your web pages.
We have shown lots of other pupils your pages also.
Take care and hopefully see you again at the final Horniman exhibition next year, from Jacqui, Inspiration Africa!

Re: Fulani song - Raglan Primary School
We listened to the singing on headphones, all being played from the one PC shared around the room. The children just spontaneously started singing along. It was really lovely seeing 30 children all singing along and so obviously enjoying it. It made my afternoon.
from Andrew Dixon
Parent/Raglan Primary School

Hi Andrew,
Thanks so much for sending all of the e-mails from Year 2 and your description of the children listening to the song made my afternoon as well!

Re: Raglan Primary School
Great ideas, my son (Raglan School Year 2) has come home telling me about all of the new things he has learnt. It is very refreshing and we thank you very much for all of your hard work.

Hello,
I am Bethany's aunt who lives in Sydney, Australia. My brother, Bethany's dad, sent me the URL of your Inspiration Africa site and I really enjoyed seeing my niece participating in a cultural event (Raglan Primary School).
Thanks so very much for making this event available on the net.

Hi Sue,
Thank you so much for sending your comments to the Inspiration Africa! website. I am the ICT artist and website designer working on Inspiration Africa! and it is fantatic to receive feedback from the other side of the world! I always tell the children that anyone in the world with an internet connection can see their pictures but it still can be difficult to imagine.
All of Project 7 at Raglan primary will start to be documented in December 2000 and there will be many more pages and pictures to look at.

I liked your unity banner. The colours were beautiful, showing happiness and friendship.

What an insprational, dynamic and uninhibited experience for you all. What you must have learnt and discovered during your day would have excited and amazed you!
Your paintings were expressions of your creative beings inspired by what you had experienced during the day - and they were WONDERFUL!
Thank you for sharing your day on the web with us - we shall aspire to create a day on the web of our own for you to see.

Dear Jacqui,
We are a hospital school in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Our students have various medical problems that bring them to us. They are usually bright students and we try to carry on with their school work so that they can return to their own schools without missing out too much on their education.
I run the art groups and some art therapy group sessions. On Fridays we have a textiles group. We are quite isolated as a small unit and I thought it would be good for the students to link up with the classroom project. We found your web site very interesting.
We are starting a project this week on designs for T-shirts, and one person is going to put her design onto a hat. We will have more time to send you messages and jpeg pictures soon.
Best wishes, Adrienne
