Each school project included one day working on the computer programme, COGPROG, adding images to the Inspiration Africa! collaborative 'virtual banner' (thumbnail canvas shown above). At the end of the project the full banner with images from each of the children participating in the project was screen printed full size (12 x 1.5 metres). This was displayed at the Inspiration Africa! exhibition at the Horniman Museum, London (July 9th - October 2001).

The actual digital banner canvas in COGPROG is thousands of pixels wide and so we have included thumbnails showing it's progress along with some details.

A description of the programme and process is available and also see the printing of the full-sized banner.

The virtual banner canvas at start of project is shown at the top of the page. The first school to add their images was Sandhurst Junior School.
