Westminster Refugee Project |
Anna coordinated this visual arts project (running June-December 2000) working with refugee children and young people in primary, secondary and special education. The project consisted of a residency in 5 different Westminster schools, particularly those with numbers of refugee pupils, and included an INSET session for teachers from participating schools. |
Two of the schools participated in the last academic year - in Edward Wilson Primary 2 large wall banners were printed based on the local area and in Quintin Kynaston Secondary a tent was made based on the idea of homes and shelter which was displayed at their international evening in July (2000). Other particpating schools are: College Park Special School, Queens Park Primary School and St. Augustine's C.E. Secondary School. |
