Cloth of Gold
Creative Collaboration
Special Schools Projects
Cloth of Gold work extensively with young people with disabilities in schools and in other community settings. The special school projects at both primary and secondary level are designed to ensure full and active participation of all pupils.
Our programme of work has developed and diversified recently to include exciting ways of working with children who have multi-sensory impairment combining the use of printed fabric with projected light, sound and textured surfaces.
We are also involved in and initiating work designed to aid and encourage integration between pupils in mainstream and special education.
Adaptive software is being developed to link with Cloth of Gold's specialist computer programme COGPROG to enable fuller involvement for children with severe physical disabilities.
