On Thursday, 6 July 2000, Year 5 presented their Inspiration Africa! project to the school at an afternoon school assembly.

Beginning with a description of the project, the pupils followed with their performance - the re-telling of the story of the tortoise and the elephant - before finally describing the ijele mask at the African Worlds collection, their ijele/PRIDE mask and what their images on it represented.
