They walked further on and it got a bit darker as well, on the way they found a shield with a bird, sword and spears on as well. It was the king's magic shield! Then they heard a scream as they walked into where the monster was.
It looked as if they were going to end up being the monster's lunch as well, but out of the shield came the bird and distracted the monster from Leo, Sly Slither, Scorpio and Lionrene. "Roar, Roar, Rattle, Rattle, Click, Click," they all went together, all walking at the same time.
Then the bird flew back into the shield and brought back the spears and threw them at the monster and got them in his eyes and blinded him in a pool of thick, hot, boiling, steaming orange fire, and it covered him, and the bird flew back into the shield and came out again with the swords.
They stabbed him and black blood came out instead of red blood. He fell down and landed on the weapons, which made him sink and he was destroyed, and everybody cheered.
When they came out of the cave the clouds were white, the sky was blue, the sun was shining, the trees were beautiful and healthy and not one of them was snapped in half.
