The horrid monster came to get the magic coat which can turn you invisible, but the four friends made a trap to knock the horrid monster into a net.
The dog called Piper bit Nickser, the horrid monster, and Nick hid behind a tree and started to laugh.
Then the monster was coming, so the animals fetched the coat and hid it in the trees. As the monster went past, they jumped out and attacked it. The monster said, "Where is the coat?"
But the animals said, "Go and find it yourself. We will not tell you where it is. We will push you in the water instead. If that doesn't finish you we will jump on you and break your back. If that doesn't finish you we will burn you alive."
