This online creative arts project was one of the activities organised for the Holocaust Memorial Day held in Cardiff in January 2006.

The project gave pupils the opportunity to receive ‘Virtual Visitors’ to their school and community travelling through time and cyber space.

The visitors arrived from war time Europe seeking refuge from Nazi persecution to tell their story ‘first hand’ to their new classmates allowing them the opportunity to explore and creatively respond to this event in history and its impact upon the children who were caught up in it.

It also gave pupils a chance to look at how they express and communicate their emotions when responding to all ‘outsiders’ and people whose appearance and customs may be different from their own.
